My name is Santos. I’ve made a career out of music since 1974, playing as an Afro-Cuban/Brazilian percussionist. I’ve worked with many jazz, R&B and rock groups and artists, including Weather Report, George Benson, Dion, Fandango, and many others. For the last 12 years have have been singing contemporary Gospel with two solo recording projects done with more in the near future. I’ve been traveling worldwide singing and sharing how after 30 years of on and off heroin addiction, and after being convicted of sale of that substance and facing a life prison sentence in New York, I am finally a whole, complete person living a productive, joyful life.
